How I will help the environment
One of the most powerful influences are world leaders and if we can get their attention and maybe they could do something like introduce protection laws or invest money into saving endangered species. I will do this by first going through our local member in parliament and tell them how you feel and how they can change this and if they are reasonable people they would take this into consideration. The money could also go towards funding for zoo preserving programs. There are many successful breeding programs happening around the world today with animals like the panda. I would like to increase these programs to ensure that endangered species do not go extinct. I will educate the world’s population on the problems relating to endangered animals and how we can stop them, like limiting greenhouse gases and stoping people littering. I will also educate people about the rapidly growing human population and over populated cities leading to more and more expansions of the cities. I will proceed in limiting packing on an object or use more environmentally friendly substances to rap the products in. One of the biggest problems at the moment is habitat loss. There is no point having breeding programs if there is no natural habitat to go back to and the only way to stop this is to minimize the destruction of their habitat. I will do this once again through the government and have them put protection laws on the habitats, or tern the habitat into national park.
Opinion
The ES2000 is a very informative and interesting website, but from the areas of the website that I have used there were a few problems. The what, why, how, species profiles, media gallery, and the facts and quotes page were all very interesting and informative. There were problems with missing context on pages which made the pages confusing and the content was a bit dated. The other thing that really annoyed me was the quiz, after you completed it did not tell you the how many you got right or wrong or which ones. To maximize the websites efficiency and professionalism the website needs to update it layout, allow you to look at your answers and see what you need to look at and update the content and facts.
